One image, every favicon you need

Browsers, phones and search results each want a different icon: the classic favicon.ico for legacy browsers and bookmarks, 16/32px PNGs for tabs, a 180px Apple touch icon for iPhone home screens, and 192/512px icons for Android and PWAs. This tool builds all of them from one image — including a genuine multi-size .ico file (16+32+48 bundled inside one file, the way Windows expects it), not just a renamed PNG. Upload a square logo of at least 512×512 for the sharpest results, download the ZIP, drop the files in your site root, and paste the tags.

FAQ

Is the .ico file a real icon file?
Yes — it's a genuine Windows ICO containing three sizes (16, 32 and 48 pixels) as proper 32-bit images with transparency, built byte-by-byte in your browser. It works in every browser back to IE and shows correctly in Windows Explorer.
What image should I start with?
A square PNG of 512×512 or larger with a transparent background gives the best results. Non-square images are center-cropped by default, or you can choose "fit inside" to keep the whole image with padding.
Where do I put the files?
Upload them to your website's root folder (public_html) so they're reachable at /favicon.ico, then paste the generated tags inside your page's <head>. The ZIP includes a README with these steps.
